Old Crow Medicine Show has spent more than 25 years carrying American roots music forward, helping spark a revival of string-band music while building a sound and live show unmistakably their own. The band has earned a reputation for exhilarating, high-energy performances that connect old-time, folk, bluegrass, country and rock & roll with a distinctly modern spirit. Best known for “Wagon Wheel,” co-written by Old Crow founder and frontman Ketch Secor with Bob Dylan, Old Crow has built a celebrated catalog of original music, collaborated with artists across generations and influenced many of the roots and Americana artists who have followed in their wake. Members of the Grand Ole Opry since 2013, the two-time GRAMMY Award-winning band has gone from busking on street corners to performing on some of the world’s most celebrated stages, while remaining one of roots music’s most enduring and dynamic live acts. Nearly three decades into its journey, Old Crow Medicine Show remains as vital and creatively ambitious as ever. The band’s acclaimed 2026 album, Union Made, explores the people, places, history and contradictions of America through Old Crow’s singular musical lens. Their most collaborative album yet, Union Made features contributions from Molly Tuttle, Del and Ronnie McCoury, Evan Felker, Ray Benson, Maggie Rose, Jesse Welles and others, and has earned praise from outlets including Relix, MOJO, MusicRow, Whiskey Riff and AmericanaUK. The album has spent multiple weeks at No. 1 on the Americana Albums chart, while “Last American Waltz,” featuring Molly Tuttle, spent multiple weeks atop the Americana Singles chart—another chapter in an illustrious career devoted to reshaping and reenergizing American roots music.
