Grassy Creek Bluegrass is a family band made up of Brian Eversole on mandolin, 15-year-old Julia Eversole on bass, 14-year-old David Eversole on guitar and 13-year-old Ashton Murray on banjo. Brian has been a musician most of his life. He has developed a passion for bluegrass music and loves sharing this with his family and others!
When not on stage, Brian is a park ranger in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. His love for nature and music goes hand in hand. Julia picked up the bass in 2022 and quickly developed a love for the instrument and bluegrass music. She enjoys attending East Tennessee Bluegrass Association jams which she attributes to helping her gain confidence to become a strong musician. David plays solid rhythm guitar, lead guitar, and flat picking with precision and drive. He enjoys attending bluegrass jams and sharing his love for bluegrass music with others. David continues to impress with his skill and dedication to bluegrass music. Ashton has been playing banjo for 8 years and is deeply dedicated to his instrument. Ashton was born on the day Earl Scruggs passed away and it’s no surprise that “Scruggs Style” picking is in his blood! He loves sharing his passion for bluegrass music with others everywhere he goes.
