HISTORIC RYMAN AUDITORIUM ANNOUNCES
SPECIAL FAN FAIR PASS NOW AVAILABLE
Ryman’s Fan Fair Package Includes WSM-AM Hosted Q&A’s With Great Country Artists, All-Day Access to Ryman’s Self-Guided Tour and More

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (June 2, 2003) – The historic Ryman Auditorium announced today it is offering a special Fan Fair pass for only $16.50 allowing country music fans to experience many star-studded events at the revered “Mother Church of Country Music.” The pass is good for unlimited daytime admission from Thursday, June 5 through Sunday, June 8.

650 WSM-AM – home of the world-famous Grand Ole Opry – will broadcast live from the Ryman Stage from Thursday until noon Saturday. Over the course of the two-and-a-half days, the country station’s on-air personalities will host Question & Answer sessions with stars including Steve Azar, Lorrie Morgan, Hal Ketchum, Chalee Tennison, BR-549, Rebecca Lynn Howard, Doug Stone, The Del McCoury Band and more.

Other activities will include autograph sessions with artists and photo opportunities with costumed country music characters from the Ryman’s storied past. Additionally, the pass gives discounts to attractions including the world-famous Grand Ole Opry, the Wildhorse Saloon and the General Jackson Showboat. Breakfast and lunch will also be available for purchase at the Ryman.

“We are happy to make these special events available to fans at such a nominal
cost,” said Pam Matthews, general manager of the Ryman Auditorium. “Our
programming is a great addition to the other Fan Fair activities taking place downtown,
and no trip to Nashville would be complete without a visit to the historic Ryman
Auditorium.”

The Ryman Fan Fair pass includes admission to the Ryman’s self-guided tour during extended hours of operation from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. on Thursday; 8 a.m.-4 p.m. on Friday and Sunday, June 8; and 8 a.m.-1 p.m. on Saturday, June 7. Admission to the tour is normally $8 for adults and $4 for children.

The Ryman Fan Fair pass will not be valid for entry to the Opry Matinee on Saturday, June 7, or the CMA Lecture Series; tickets to the two events are being sold separately. The CMA Lecture Series will include artists such as Lance Bass of 'NYSNC, NBC Soap Stars from Passions and Days of our Lives, and Wynonna – with the latter two lectures hosted by Deana Carter. With the Ryman Fan Fair Pass, guests can purchase tickets for an additional $10 per session.

Ryman Fan Fair passes may be purchased at the Ryman Box Office, by calling (615) 889-3060 or by visiting www.ryman.com, which features the most updated schedule of Fan Fair and other events.
